"Taste and Learn - Rootstocks and Stuff..."
Please join us for our next class in the Wineshare® Taste and Learn Series where you get to taste some great wine and learn a little while you are at it. We continue our exploration of Viticulture with a focus on the rootstock and training systems. We’ll cover topics such as grafting, parentage, hybrid choices, trellises and pruning. This is the final class dealing with viticulture, so we’ll celebrate by tasting a wonderful Pinot Noir from New Zealand.
A blend of fruit from four Marlborough vineyards with varying soil characteristics. The grapes were hand-picked, hand-sorted, de-stemmed and then cooled pre-fermentation. Matured in French barriques for eleven months.
