Wine Tasting Events
Join us every Friday evening between 6:00PM and 8:00PM for weekly wine tastings at The Old Vine. We'll feature at least two wines for you to try and purchase if you like. Be sure to sign up for our invitational tastings on Thursday when we will feature a hand selected fine wine from a specific region around the world. Remember, space for the Thursday evening events is limited, so be sure to sign up well in advance!
"Taste and Learn - Other Reds"
Please join us at our next Wineshare® Taste and Learn Series class, where you get to taste some great wine and learn a little while you are at it. We continue our exploration of grapes with a focus on other red varieties. We’ll also discuss an example hybrid and cross – touching on the differences between the two. Finally, we’ll help clarify some of the differences between traditional and organic viticulture practices. As a reward for your attention, we’ll treat participants to a taste of a Cabernet Franc from Italy
D'Orsaria Cabernet Franc displays vibrant aromas of red berry and plum, enhanced by hints of violet and spice. Light and fresh on the palate, notes of cherry, raspberry, and pepper are complemented by soft tannins and a lingering finish.
